1. X (TWITTER)

• Elon Musk has recently introduced Grok, an AI chatbot exclusively available to X Premium+ subscribers.

• X has launched timestamp links for videos.

• Subscribers of Twitter (X) now have the ability to direct message the Premium account for support.

2. LINKEDIN

• Next month, LinkedIn will be eliminating all native carousel posts from the platform.

• LinkedIn is set to remove all profile videos from the platform.

3. INSTAGRAM

• Instagram is introducing a feature that allows users to preview how their posts will appear in the grid before sharing.

• Instagram is testing polls in the comments

• You can now zoom in on Instagram profile pictures

• Instagram is exploring the option to reply to Notes with voice messages, GIFs, photos, videos, and stickers.

• Instagram is developing the capability to archive Stories while they are still active.

• Instagram is testing a feature that allows users to turn off read receipts in direct messages (DMs).

• Instagram is developing the capability to archive Stories while they are still active.

• Instagram is rolling out the feature to share comments in Stories.

4. META

• Meta has unveiled new tools catering to Reels creators, offering A/B testing options.

• Creators can now compare up to four versions of each Reel with different captions and thumbnails.

5. YOUTUBE

• YouTube is in the testing phase for generative AI features, which include comment summaries and a video chatbot.

• YouTube channels are now equipped with TikTok-style For You feeds.

• YouTube Music is gradually introducing the ability to add podcasts via RSS.

6. TIKTOK

• TikTok is discontinuing its Creator Fund and replacing it with the new Creativity Programme.

7. TELEGRAM

• Telegram has introduced a giveaways feature in Channels.

8. GOOGLE

• Google is implementing new features to help businesses “stand out this holiday season,” including the option for merchants to add a small business attribute on Search and Google Maps.

9. WHATSAPP

• WhatsApp introduced a new chat lock feature, which offers more privacy for personal conversations. With it, users are now able to separately protect individual chats, but also group chats. These can be locked by tapping on the name of the contact or group and selecting “Lock”.

10. THREADS

• On Threads, you can create posts with up to 500 characters (more than Twitter’s 280), links, up to 10 photos, and videos up to 5 minutes long.
