Kidnap Victims Flee from Captivity in Benue

Four kidnap victims have escaped from their abductors in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.

The Executive Chairman of Ukum LGA, Hon. Jonathan Modi Ta, received the victims in Zaki Biam on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

The victims, all from Ukum extraction, revealed that they were kidnapped on December 27, 2024 and endured severe hardships, including days without food.

Addressing them shortly after a strategic security meeting with security heads, Hon. Modi expressed deep concern for their well-being.

He immediately ordered their transfer to a hospital for urgent medical care, emphasizing that their fragile health conditions required professional attention.

Hon. Modi warned perpetrators to desist from these acts, reminding them that both the law and divine justice would catch up with those who insist on perpetuating violence.
