LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft, creating the possibility of a father-son duo on the court.

The 19-year-old Bronny was selected with the 55th overall pick.

This has been a highly anticipated development in the NBA world, as LeBron James has expressed a desire to play alongside his son before retiring.

Bronny downplayed any nepotism concerns, stating that he understands the seriousness of the league and his selection was based on his own merit.

“This is a serious business and I don’t think there would be a thought that I’m just drafting this kid because of his dad,” Bronny previously said.
