Rainoil Limited is currently sourcing for an LPG Plant Cashier in the following locations:
Location: Ore Town (Ondo State), Osogbo (Osun State), Oghara (Delta State), Ikom (Cross River State), Calabar (Cross River State).
Job Title: LPG Plant Cashier
Specialisation: LPG (Gas)
Job Summary: To manage the petty cash inflow and outflow of Rainoil’s stations and depots as well as maintaining accurate records/books on transactions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Facilitates the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
2. Maintains records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
3. Processes expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
4. Creates and maintains records of cash requests and disbursements.
5. Reconciles all received cash, which have been recorded in the petty cash book, with expenses.
6. Processes payment for accounts and issuing receipts.
7. Keeps records of amounts received and paid, and regularly checking the cash balance against this record.
8. Collects money from bank for safe keeping before reimbursements.
9. Files all documents concerning cash payment and collection.
10. Responds to queries regarding approvals, payment limits and deadlines for retirements etc.
11. Retires the various imprest accounts.
12. Prepares daily and weekly collections and payment summary reports for review by the station supervisor.
Qualifications Required:
1. Minimum of One (1) year work experience in a similar role
2. Minimum of an BSC/HND in Accounting, Banking/Finance & Economics.
