Veteran pop singer Madonna has taken to social media to slam newly-elected American President Donald Trump over his recent anti-transgender executive orders.
Madonna, who berated Trump over his policies in a post on her Instagram page stated that it is so sad to watch the new government dismantle all the trans freedoms they have been fighting for.
She also berated Trump for barring transgender people from serving and enlisting in the army, as well as forbidding federal funding for youth gender-affirming care.

“It’s so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for and WON over the years,” Madonna wrote on her Instagram page.
Madonna included emojis of a broken heart and a Pride flag in her social media message, but she did not specify which liberties she was referring to.
“Don’t give up the Fight!” the multiple award-winning musician concluded her post.
