Man digs up late brother’s grave, sells skull for N12,000

ABAKALIKI (CONVERSEER) – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ebonyi State Command has paraded a hunter who exhumed and sold his late younger brother’s skull to a native doctor for Okite money rituals purposes at the rate of N12,000.00.

According to The Paradise News, the State Commandant, Francis Nnadi, while speaking with journalists at the command’s headquarters in Abakaliki during the parade, warned criminals to leave the state or meet their waterloo.

The Commandant noted that Ebonyi State is the safest in Nigeria and assured the command’s readiness to ensure reduction of crimes to the barest minimum in the state.

According to Nnadi, the 52-year-old hunter identified as Ugoegu Nwaji is a native of Onunwakpu Igbeagu in Izzi Local Government Area of the state exhumed the remains of his younger brother by name Ogor Mmboyi and sold the skull at N12,000.00 to a native doctor, Nwodo Nwenyi who needed it to perform Okite money rituals for his clients.

“The skull was found at the shrine of Nwenyi at same address. The said corpse died two years ago according to the hunter,” he said.
