Man drags Taraba businessman to court for allegedly enticing his wife and having extramarital affair with her

A man identified as Mahmud Usman Garba had dragged a businessman, Alhaji Husseni Kashimu, before a Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Jalingo, Taraba State, over alleged affair with his wife. 

 

The complainant, Garba, a resident of Rafin Sanyi area of Jalingo had on January 13, 2025 filed a complaint before the Court alleging that Husseni Kashimu has been enticing his wife, Hadiza Sani and having s3xual intercourse with her.

 

At the hearing of the case on March 16, a prosecution witness, Tahir Hassan told the court that the accused, Hussain Kashimu had during a reconciliation meeting at the Palace of Chief of Tigun in Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, confessed that he was having affairs with the wife of Mahmud Usman and promised to discontinue the relationship.

 

Hassan further told the Court that after the said reconciliation meeting, Kashimu did not stop the relationship but continued to have affairs with the married woman, Hadiza Sani, who shares five children with the husband Mahmud Usman.

The trial Chief Magistrate Chris Jonah adjourned the case to April 9, 2025, for continuation of hearing.

 

He directed the prosecution council, Danlami Shehu, to assemble the remaining two witnesses on April 9 for the speedy trial of the case.
