Natasha files sexual harassment petition against Akpabio at plenary

The Senator representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, today, March 5, tendered a petition before the Senate at plenary accusing the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, of sexu@l harassment.

 

Rising under Order 40 of the Senate Rules, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan said she had made some comments on Arise News Channel breakfast show concerning alleged sexu@l harassment by Akpabio, and had decided to formally table same as a petition before the Senate.

 

Akpabio, who was presiding over the session, thereafter, asked the Senator Natasha to proceed with the submission of the petition, which she did.
