NEW MEXICO (CONVERSEER) – New Mexico police on Saturday fired non-lethal rounds and successfully disarmed two minors (boys) who were holding a loaded handgun.
The boys, 7 and 9, were seen pointing the gun toward the police.
The moment was caught on a drone, which helped police carry out the operation.
The boys were eventually disarmed and were not injured.
Instead of charging the kids with a crime, deputies say they are going to connect the family with behavioural health services.
