Nigerian business mogul to be buried in Saudi Arabia

MADINAH (CONVERSEER) – Arrangements are now complete for the burial of Aminu Dantata, Nigerian business mogul in Saudi Arabia.

Dantata, who died at the age of 94 last weekend in Abu Dhabi, will be buried on Tuesday.

According to the spokesperson for the Dantata family, Mustapha Junaidu, the elder statesman’s body has already arrived in the holy city of Madinah, Saudi Arabia, ahead of his burial.

According to Junaidu, the delegation landed safely from Abu Dhabi and final arrangements for the Janazah (funeral prayer) are being made.

His words: “The aircraft landed in Madina. We are now heading to the city for further preparations for the funeral prayer.”

Adding that the prayer would hold after the Asr (late afternoon) prayer in Madina, in line with Islamic rites.
