A Nigerian man, Kingsley Onyewuenyi and his wife, Chika, are celebrating as they welcome their first child after 19 years of waiting.

The couple took to Facebook on Thursday, February 13, 2025, to express joy and gratitude to God for their long-awaited blessing.

In his post, Kingsley shared how they faced insults and mockery at the hands of family members.

“I can’t say all I went through in the hands of Umunna in the last 19 years. It has been a horrifying, agonizing, suffocating and traumatic 19 years of insult and mockery of an innocent couple who didn’t do any wrong to themselves or the world. This is the lord’s doing. Our son Kemdi Princewill Onyewuenyi is here. Our God is great. Thank you chukwuokikeabiama,” he wrote.

On her part, Chika thanked God for wiping away her tears.

“El ROI. The God that wiped away my tears and shame, I say thank you. It’s a baby boy. Welcome Kemdi princewill Onyewuenyi,” she wrote.
