A Nigerian woman, Efe Johnson, has recalled when an ex told her not to attend a particular church only for him to become a member of that church after their relationship ended.
“I once dated someone who told me I couldn’t attend a church but became a member of that church immediately we split. I’m dissecting with my therapist, and you don’t realise how crazy some things are until after. Again, women with a purpose need to stay away from insecure men,” she wrote.
“It’s insane reviewing timestamps. “Can’t go to that church, won’t do a masters abroad, must do this, must do that” and it’s mostly after the woman starts to earn more and travel more. Phew. If anything, the human nature is selfish, and insecure men are a weapon.”
