Rivers United have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Ifeanyi Nchekwube, DAILY POST reports.
Nchekwube joined the Pride of Rivers from Niger Tornadoes.
Rivers United described the shot-stopper as one of the best in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
“We’ve got our man! Ifeanyi Nchekwube arrives from Niger Tornadoes!” Rivers United wrote after announcing the player’s arrival.
“One of the NPFL’s best goalkeepers now joins the Pride of Rivers.”
DAILY POST recalls that Rivers United also recently signed another goalkeeper, Clinton Ezekiel, from Bayelsa United.
