“It is to the glory of God that we in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star heartily congratulate Nigeria for reverting to the old national anthem which lyrics better express the will of God for Nigeria and the supplication of Nigerians to the Almighty God.

“It could be recalled that our Holy Father – His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, the King of kings and Lord of lords and Leader of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star in His address to His Children in September 2019 and in several other fora had proclaimed that for Nigeria to find meaning in her journey to nationhood and receive the blessings of God, she should revert to the old National anthem that calls for all Nigerians to stand in Brotherhood irrespective of differences in tribe and tongue.

“Today, this timeless proclamation of the King of kings and Lord of lords has come to pass as Nigeria has officially reverted to the old anthem. By this action, the time has come for Nigeria to manifest her full potentials and receive divine blessings from God.

“The composer of the anthem notwithstanding, Nigerians should be more concerned about the lyrics of this anthem which is a solemn prayer to God and a commitment by all citizens to live together in Brotherhood. This anthem holds great spiritual significance; hence, it is our hope that as we chant these worthy aspirations in all our official gatherings, the letters and spirit of this anthem will fill our hearts and find expression in our national life.

“Once again, we congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the National Assembly and indeed all Nigerians for this historic move and assure the leadership of this Country of the divine blessings of our Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu. As we have gone back to the old anthem, let us all commit ourselves to its lyrics, for now is the time to build a nation where no man is oppressed and that Nigeria may be blessed with peace and plenty.
Congratulations Nigeria!!!” the statement read.
