The Delta State Police Command has arrested two serial car snatchers/murdrers in the state. The suspects, identified as Junior Emmanuel, 33, and Julius Samuel, 28, are said to have solicited the service of cab drivers only to k!ll them and take their car. They were nabbed after they took some stolen vehicles to a scrap yard in Warri to sell. The scrap dealers suspected foul play and alerted the police, leading to the arrest of the suspects, who allegedly confessed to the crime. Announcing the arrest in a statement, the Delta State Police said: “On the 15th of December 2024, a lady ( name withheld) reported Ekpan Police station that on the same date, at about 2014 hours, while she was standing in front of ShopRite, two boys approached her and negotiated the sum of 50,000 and took her to one club. “After the club, they invited a cab man, and the cab man took them to one bar at Osubi. “They instructed the cab man to go to Aziza junction in Warri Sapele road, upon getting there, to her surprise, one of the suspects brought a rope from his pocket and used it to str@ngle the driver while in motion and she was beaten and asked to bend her face down. “After k! lling the driver, they dragged the driver out and then abandoned the girl in the bush. “On the 26th of December, the same syndicate also attacked another cab driver in Benin, but the cab driver escaped abandoning the vehicle with them. “Consequently, on 2nd of January 2025, the syndicate brought the car stolen in Benin to a scrap yard in Warri to sell. “The scrap dealers who were suspected called the DPO Ekpan who came and arrested them. “The two suspects Junior Emmanuel m age 33yrs and Julius Samuel m age 28yrs confessed that they were serial car snatchers and were the ones who murdred the cab man at Osubi on 15th December 2024. “The two vehicles have been recovered from them.”The post Police nab serial car snatchers who murdr drivers and sell their vehicle in Delta State appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
