The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has summoned DSP Aliyu Adejembi and his men seen in a viral video collecting money from Chinese nationals to the Force headquarters in Abuja for questioning.

The video which surfaced on social media on Tuesday, shows some Chinese nationals handing out about N5,000 mint notes to each policeman in a lined-up formation. The Mobile Policemen were on escort duty to the Chinese nationals somewhere in Kaduna State. The development sparked outrage with many Nigerians condemning the act.

A Signal Warning from the Force headquarters has been sent to their commander summoning the officers to Abuja for disciplinary actions.
