BREAKING NEWS: Prince Effiom Terminates Revenue Contracts in Akpabuyo

Akpabuyo, Cross River – The Chairman of Akpabuyo Local Government Area, Hon. (Prince) Effiom Bassey Effiong, has terminated all revenue contracts in the council.

According to a press statement by Prince Ekpo Effiom Effiong, Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, on Monday, the directive is in line with the resolution from the last Executive Council meeting.

The statement also instructed all Revenue Contractors to return all council revenue materials in their possession to the Director of Finance and Supply on or before January 3, 2025.

“In line with the resolution of the Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday, 18th December 2024, the Executive Chairman of Akpabuyo Local Government Council, HON. (PRINCE) EFFIOM BASSEY EFFIONG, has directed the termination of all revenue contracts involving Revenue Agents, Revenue Committees, and Revenue Adhoc Staff, effective 31st December 2024.

“All Revenue Contractors are hereby instructed to return all council revenue materials in their possession to the Director of Finance and Supply (DFS) or the Revenue Officer of Akpabuyo Local Government Council on or before Friday, 3rd January 2025,” the statement read.
