Prophet Eric Boahen Uche, Founder and General Overseer of Reign House Chapel International in North Legon, Accra, has attracted widespread attention as a prophecy he made months before the 2026 FIFA World Cup final has aligned with the tournament’s outcome.
In a video that was recorded about 7 months ago, the prophet declared Spain would emerge as champions of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The prediction was met with scepticism by some at the time, but following Spain’s victory, many have revisited his earlier remarks.
In another video before the World Cup final on Sunday, July 19, Prophet Uche reaffirmed his prophecy and further predicted that the Spanish player wearing the number seven jersey would score the decisive goal for his country.
Following Spain’s victory, many believers have described the development as a fulfilment of the prophecy.
The prophecy has since generated significant discussion across social media, with many users praising the prophet for what they describe as an accurate prediction, while others have debated the significance of prophetic declarations in relation to sporting events.
This is not the first time Prophet Eric Boahen Uche has been credited by his followers with making a prophecy that later appeared to come to pass.
Recall that during last year’s 31st December Watch Night Service, he cautioned about an imminent death connected to Ghana’s Parliament House. Sadly, on Sunday, 4th January, the death of the MP for Ayawaso East was announced.
