Rashad Emmanuel, the Chief Executive Officer of the fastest-growing online platform, GH Page, has cried to the government of Ghana, as a matter of urgency, to fix the deplorable Accra-Kumasi road network to allow safe and easy movement.
The GH Page’s boss’ cry comes following numerous reports that more than enough people bought their tickets to the land of silence while playing the road.
Speaking in a viral self-recorded video, Rashad questioned why the government of Ghana continues to act nonchalantly knowing very well that gory accidents are often recorded on the road.
He questioned whether the government is waiting to record another gory accident involving ministers, Members of Parliament, and perhaps the President or Vice President before it takes things seriously.
He questioned “the Accra- Kumasi road, are we waiting for a VIP bus, carrying politicians to have a gory accident on the road before things are taken seriously?”
He went on to cry out, stating that, to be honest, it is sad that for over 50 years or so, this road has caused over a million deaths. What pains me a lot is the one that involved those kids who were using the road after they had gone to the church”.
He added “We had to speak about this issue on countless occasions before Asiedu Nketia and the women’s organizer within that area visited the bereaved families”.
Rashad went on to question “family, so, what are we expecting to see on the Accra- Kumasi road before things are taken seriously?”
