European champions Spain have emerged winners of the 2026 FIFA World Cup by beating Argentina 1-0 after extra-time in the final at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday night.
Spain have now won two World Cup titles after winning the 2010 edition histed by South Africa, and will be the co-host of the next edition in 2030.
It was Ferran Torres who scored an extra-time second-half goal after over 105minutes of goalless football in a one-sided final.
