A Ghanaian barber named Califa has disclosed that owning a barbershop is more lucrative than white-collar jobs.
Califa’s shocking statement was made while speaking in an interview on Ewiase Mu Nsem TV monitored by GH Page.
Speaking during the interview, Califa advised that Ghanaians shouldn’t focus only on education and white-collar jobs, as he claims there is more money in the blue-collar jobs people do not respect.
Califa shared that, at some point, he learnt the hard way and decided to forget about education and focus on learning a skill, something he claims has helped him so much.
Speaking about the amount of money he makes, Califa shared that in a week, he makes no less than 2k Ghana Cedis from just barbering the hair of people.
He went on to state that, in a month, he goes home with a profit of not less than 6k Ghana Cedis, an amount he brags most government workers do not make.
