The Nigerian equities market rebounded from last week’s massive N1.45 trillion loss as investors rallied to gain N794 billion on the trading floor last week.
The bourse recorded gains in three of the five trading days as market capitalization increased to N63.6 trillion from the N62.8 trillion recorded the previous week.
Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) depreciated by 1.22% to close the week at 103,598.30 points from the 102,353.68 points recorded the previous week.
The market performance was buoyed by strong showings from stocks like SCOA, CHELLARAM, UPDC, and Guinness amongst others on the bourse to position themselves as stocks to watch in the new week.
