The bum-bum of Sen. Bassey Otu is still hanging beside the seat of the Government House as Governor of Cross River State.
That being said, CONVERSEER learned that Otu will know his fate at the Election Petition Tribunal (EPT) on Tuesday.
The Judgement, EPT/CR/GOV/02/2023 will be delivered on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, by the Governorship Panel sitting at the High Court Complex, Moore Road, Calabar.

Recall that Sen. Sandy Onor, Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had taken Otu and his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to court over certificate forgery, dual citizenship, dual party membership, amongst others.
The tribunal and subsequent Appeal and Supreme Court judgements (if need be) will determine the position of Otu as the Executive Governor of Cross River State for the next four years.
