ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – The Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi has clashed with Sen. Adams Oshiomhole, Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District.
Converseer reports that Umahi and Oshiomhole clashed on Wednesday during the Ministry of Works’ defence of the 2026 budget.
During the defence, the minister could be heard confronting Oshiomhole, saying, “You can’t use foul language on me. I’m a distinguished Nigerian.”
The senator representing Kano Central Senatorial District, Sen. Rufai Sani Hanga, however, cautioned the minister to mind his words.
According to him, “You are just two months Senator Mr Umahi”.
Oshiomhole was subsequently allowed to speak on the budget.
