UNICAL partners French embassy on exchange programmes, recycling project

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has sought the collaboration of the French Embassy in Abuja in the area of exchange of programmes between the University of Calabar and French Universities.

The University is also partnering with the French Embassy in their waste-to-plastic recycling project.

Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Florence Banku Obi, who led a delegation from the institution on the visit, said the university was seeking collaboration with the French Government and their institutions with a view to exposing students of UNICAL to Western education, research and learning.

The Chargé d’Affaire at the French Embassy in Abuja, Jean-François Hasperue, and his team, were very excited and willing to collaborate with the University of Calabar as one of the few universities offering French courses.
