American rapper and actor, Curtis James Jackson III, professionally known as 50 Cent, has compared Nigeria during his last visit to the United States of America.
Converseer reports that 50 Cent during one of his tours in April 2023 visited Nigeria, about 20 years after his last visit.
The rapper said nothing changed after 20 years, adding that it’s even worse than his last visit to a country that has prided itself as the giant of Africa.
In a statement in March this year, this rapper, “After I went to Nigeria, I realised that life in the US is good.
“I used to think I was from the bottom. All my life I’ve never seen anything as harsh as the neighbourhood the driver took us to.
“Forget about housing projects where the elevators aren’t good, no AC, no steady electricity and others because they didn’t even have that. What we call suffering is what they see as luxury,” 50 Cent said.

Recall that the “In Da Club” crooner was slapped by Nigerian singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, about 20 years ago when he visited Nigeria during the time of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Eedris even made a song “Koleyewon” about it, describing how Nigerian artistes were badly treated at home and abroad.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent is ensuring his political views count in the upcoming US election.
In a recent interview, the rapper said he sees young African American men identifying with Donald Trump for the 2024 election because “they got RICO charges.”
Question: “What do you see as significant for African American men in this election?”
50: “I see them identifying with Trump.”
Question: “Why do you say that?”
50: “Because they got RICO charges.”
