A Ghanaian X user, who said he is the brother of a student who committed suicide has mourned him.
LIB reported that the 100 level student at the University of Education, Winneba, took the drastic step after finding out that his girlfriend cheated on him.
He reportedly committed suicide on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
“My brother just hanged himself because of a woman at UEW. I just held his cold body and I can’t even cry. I’m so sad man,” he wrote on April 16, after the incident.
“Why will you k!ll yourself because of a woman. WHY WHY WHY WHY Kumi WHY.”
“Thanks to everyone for their words of encouragement through this hard times. Losing a loved one through such a tragic event is not easy for us. I really appreciate.”
