Wike calls for massive employment of youths

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike

By Frank Ulom

ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike, has called for the employment of youths in Nigeria.

Wike made this call on Tuesday while flagging off the 15km rehabilitation of Old Keffi Road from Kado Village to Dei Dei Junction in Abuja.

According to the Minister, the youths need employment to grow themselves and the country.

“I urge the government to employ our youths, men and women. Whether permanent or contract jobs, our youths need employment,” Wike said.

Wike said the road will boost the economy of Dei Dei, especially its spare parts market, which is one of the largest in that region.

He said the next couple of days are for the flagging off of construction and rehabilitation of projects in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
