A woman has urged recruiters to be kinder and more patient with job seekers.

She spoke after a recruiter went online to slam a job seeker who thought he was a scammer when he reached out about a job.

Sharing her own experience on X, the woman narrated how she initially assumed one recruiter who reached out to schedule a job interview with her was a scammer.

She explained that she had submitted job applications to different places but after time passed, she gave up hope, only for one recruiter to reach out to her much later to inform her that she missed an interview.

She explained that she previously thought it was a scam but her cousin encouraged her to indulge the person and she eventually got the job.

She went on to urge recruiters to extend grace if job seekers assume they are scammers.
