Brazil head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has insisted that Neymar will be called up for his side’s final group game against Scotland.
Neymar has been recovering from a calf injury he sustained before the World Cup started.
The Santos forward missed Brazil’s first two games against Morocco and Haiti.
Recall that Brazil played a 1-1 draw with Morocco and defeated Haiti 3-0 in the early hours of today.
Speaking after Brazil defeated Haiti, Ancelotti said of Neymar at his post-match interview, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano, “Neymar will train individually tomorrow, then Sunday back training with the team and then called up against Scotland.”
Neymar is Brazil’s all-time top scorer in the national team so far with 79 goals.
