FIFA has appointed Slovanian Slavko Vinčić to referee the 2026 World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina.
Vinčić will be joined by assistant referees Tomaž Klančnik and Andraž Kovačič.
Adham Makhadmeh of Jordan has been appointed as the fourth official for the match at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The World Cup final will be the fourth game that Vinčić will take charge of at the tournament.
The Slovenian has already officiated group fixtures between Brazil vs Morocco and Jordan vs Algeria.
He also refereed the Round of 32 clash between Mexico and Ecuador, where he sent off Ecuador defender Piero Hincapié under the anti-discrimination protocol widely referred to as the “Vinícius Law.”
