Ex-CRSHA member Elucate Ekom describes Gov Otu’s leadership award as testament to good leadership

The former lawmaker representing Obubra II State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Dr Elucate Ekom, has described Governor Bassey Otu’s leadership award as a testament to good leadership.

Dr Ekom stated this in a heartfelt message obtained by CONVERSEER on Wednesday, following the conferment of the prestigious Michael Okpara Award to Governor Otu a few days ago.

In his congratulatory message, Ekom said though Otu is quiet he is focused and determined to restore the glory of the state.

“I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to you on the prestigious Michael Okpara Award you recently received. This recognition is a testament to your outstanding leadership, vision, and dedication to the well-being of Cross Riverians.

“His Excellency is a quiet but focused disposition towards restoring the glory of Cross River State as an oil producing State which has been lost many years back; and as a destination for peace and security are testaments of good leadership and improved governance deserving of the Award of the Michael Okpara Leadership laurel conferred on him. This is in addition to the environmental cleanup in the State Capital which now recaptures the real essence of the Paradise State of Cross River State.

“Your tireless efforts to drive development, improve infrastructure, and promote social welfare have not gone unnoticed. This award is a shining example of your commitment to excellence and your passion for making a positive impact.
