Veteran Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, aka 2face, has been spotted at an unidentified hair store with his love interest Natasha Osawuru days after his family declared him missing.
Recall that his family, in a petition signed by its lawyer, Wilson Anuge, and released to reporters on Friday, claimed that the singer had been missing since February 10.
According to the statement, the musician has not been seen since leaving his house in his loungewear, indicating that he was taking his usual stroll but has not returned ever since.
Anuge claimed in the statement that the multiple award-winning singer had never before vanished or left his job for so long and that his abrupt, silent absence had caused his family and friends to become extremely alarmed.
“This disturbing discovery and the fact that those who ought to hear from him have not heard from him for over 72 hours have left his entire family deeply concerned,” the lawyer said in the petition.
“Adding to the family’s distress are the calls from several of his close friends who have received messages from what appears to be his social media accounts soliciting financial assistance.
“These messages are alarming, as Mr. Innocent is financially independent and has never required assistance in such a manner. This has led his family to suspect that his identity may have been compromised and that someone may have abducted him and is actively manipulating him to exploit his contacts for monetary gain.’’ The statement read in part.
However, the ‘African Queen’ crooner has been spotted in a video that surfaced online showing him and Natasha Osawuru together in a hair store, as it appears that the singer accompanied the Edo lawmaker to purchase some hair products.
