OWERRI (CONVERSEER) – The Imo State Police Command has arrested and detained three of its personnel identified in a viral video showing alleged unprofessional conduct.

In a statement released by the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, the officers were named as Inspector Obinna Peter, Corporal Amaechi Augustine, and Corporal Ejikeme Victor.

The statement revealed that the officers are currently in custody while a thorough investigation into their alleged involvement in cultism and other related offences is ongoing. An Orderly Room Trial has been scheduled to commence on Monday to address the allegations formally.

“The conduct displayed in the viral video is highly unprofessional and does not reflect the discipline, ethics, and values of the Nigeria Police Force,” the Command stated.
