Newly elected 31 local government chairmen in Akwa Ibom State

The list of newly elected 31 local government chairmen in Akwa Ibom State is out following the local government election that took place in the state on Saturday, 5th October.

CONVERSEER reports that the authentic list of the newly elected local government area (LGA) chairmen was signed by Elder Iniedi Ikoiwak, Executive Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission (AKISIEC), on Sunday, 6th October.

According to the list, 31 local government chairmen were elected of which 30 are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) while one is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Note that, the state governor, Pastor Umo Eno is a member of the PDP.

Below is the full list of the newly elected 31 local government chairmen in Akwa Ibom State

1. Aniefiok Isaac Nkom – Ikot Ekpene LGA (PDP)

2. Sunday Festus Akpan – Oruk Anam LGA (PDP)

3. Utibe Thomas Nwoko – lka LGA (PDP)

4. Akaninyene Tommet Ikott – Eket LGA (PDP)

5. Ime Effiong Charles – Abak LGA (PDP)

6. Inibehe Monday Umah – Ini LGA (PDP)

7. Otobong Okon Essien – Ikono LGA (PDP)

8. Okon Asukwo Enweme – Oron LGA (PDP)

9. George Okon Henshaw – Okobo LGA (PDP)

10. Prince Uyo Ukpanah – Ukanafun LGA (PDP)




11. Uwemedimo Udo – Uyo LGA (PDP)

12. Usoro Ntiedo Effiong – Essien Udim LGA (APC)

13. Otobong S. Aaron – Nsit lbom LGA (PDP)

14. Simon Domic Akpan – Obot Akara LGA (PDP)

15. Ime Williamson Essien – lkot Abasi LGA (PDP)

16. Edidiong Joseph Inyang – Ibesikpo Asutan LGA (PDP)
