Photos and videos showcasing the lavish lifestyle of Nigerian luxury goods dealer and social media influencer Afolabi Kazeem Michael, popularly known as KC Luxury, have resurfaced online following his arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

KC Luxury, who was known for flaunting expensive cars, designer bags, jewellery and other luxury possessions on social media, was reportedly arrested on Thursday, August 13, 2026, over his alleged connection to a multibillion-naira cocaine trafficking syndicate.

According to NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Marwa (rtd), KC Luxury was apprehended at the boarding gate of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos while allegedly attempting to board a business-class flight to Paris.

The NDLEA said he was found with €7,750, £2,800 and N100,000 in cash, in addition to expensive jewellery.

A subsequent search of his luxury apartment in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, reportedly resulted in the recovery of several exotic vehicles and other valuable items.

The agency said the operation led to the seizure of 184.50 kilogrammes of cocaine, which it estimated to have a street value of about N39 billion.

The NDLEA further alleged that KC Luxury was the “arrowhead” of the drug trafficking syndicate under investigation. The allegations have yet to be tested in court.

Following news of his arrest, old social media posts and videos showing KC Luxury displaying his wealth have attracted renewed attention.

In one of the videos, he reportedly boasted about owning two Mercedes-Benz S680 Virgil Abloh Maybach vehicles, which he valued at about N800 million each.

“I am the only person with 2 Mercedes-Benz S680 Virgil Abloh Maybach (N800M each),” he reportedly said.

He also claimed to own the first of a limited series of the luxury vehicle, stating that he had “Serial Number 001 of 150 Mercedes Benz Virgil Abloh.”

Other resurfaced footage shows KC Luxury posing alongside exotic cars while displaying high-end Birkin bags, jewellery and other luxury items.
