Barcelona sealed a 1-0 victory over Alaves at the Camp Nou on Sunday to reduce the points gap between them and leaders Real Madrid.
Robert Lewandowski netted the only goal of the game on the hour mark to snatch all three points for the hosts.
Lewandowski is La Liga’s top scorer this season with 18 goals.
Barca are now unbeaten in 15 league matches against Alaves – 13 wins and two draws.

Hansi Flick’s side remain third in the table, three points behind second-placed Atletico Madrid.
Leaders Real suffered a shock 1-0 defeat away at Espanyol on Saturday and Barca took their opportunity to close the gap at the top.
