Burkina Faso, World Bank Unite to Tackle Socio-Economic Crisis

Burkina Faso’s Prime Minister, Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, has reaffirmed the country’s commitment to working with the World Bank to promote development and improve the living standards of its citizens.

This commitment was underscored during a high-level meeting with Clara Ana De Sousa, the World Bank’s Country Director for Burkina Faso.

Both parties discussed critical areas of collaboration and pledged to intensify efforts to address the ongoing socio-economic and security challenges facing the nation.

Clara Ana De Sousa emphasized the World Bank’s continued support for Burkina Faso and confirmed the institution’s alignment with the government’s priorities, particularly in implementing high-impact programmes.
