CDCFIB postpones opening of portal for shortlisted candidates

CDCFIB postpones opening of portal for shortlisted candidates

ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the postponement of the opening of the portal for shortlisted candidates to attend physical screening and document verification.

This was disclosed in a public announcement electronically signed by Maj. Gen. AM Jibril (Rtd), Secretary to the Board, on 1st December 2025.

According to the release, “The portal, which was initially scheduled to open on 1st December 2025, will now be open as soon as possible.”

Shortlisted candidates are advised to check the official recruitment portal, “recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng” for updates on the new opening date.

“The CDCFIB apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the interest of applicants in the recruitment exercise.

“Further announcements will be made on the official portal and social media handles,” the release added.

Converseer reports that 1,914,349 applied for the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services job.

1,120,491 completed their applications. The board also recorded 432,935 incomplete applications and 360,923 disqualified applications.
