It was a unique Christmas celebration at Ikot Ekpene Udo, home town of Governor Umo Eno in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, as he hosted guests to a special celebration flavoured with scintillating tunes by popular music artists including Flavour and Disasta.

The wonderful display of talents by the  different artistes kept many swinging to the rhythm for a greater part of the event.

The Governor who displayed different dance steps alongside members of his Executive Council, National Assembly members, State House of Assembly members, captains of industries and other political stalwarts, expressed delight at the large turnout of people to celebrate the day with him.

Speaking through the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Lady Helen Obareki, he said it was a thing of joy to host a special Christmas celebration over the years, dating long before his emergence as Governor.

The Governor who is a seasoned entrepreneur also used the occasion to empower indigenes of Nsit Ubium Local Government Area selected across all the wards in the area with business support grants of N500, 000 each.

Also speaking at the event, the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, appreciated everyone for attending, called on them to remain committed to the peace and unity of the State, and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Godswill Akpabio and the Government in the State.

The celebration attracted members of the political class, captains of industries, friends, and indigenes of the area, and different artistes who performed at the event.
