By Our Reporter

Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, has assured that Cross Riverians will have no regrets for voting him as governor.

The Governor, who promised to transform and grow the economic fortunes of the state and restore the state to her pride of place in the country, made the commitment during a thanksgiving service held in honour of his Chief of Staff, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, at the Bible Crusaders Christian Mission, Calabar.

Governor Otu, who hailed his Chief of Staff as a trusted and reliable ally, and an integral part of his success story, extolled the leadership qualities of Hon. Ironbar.

The Governor used the occasion to appreciate Ironbar for standing by him during difficult times, describing him as a complete man and a strong support base.

He reassured the cheering congregation of his administration’s determination to return Cross River to its pride of place, pointing out that the noble achievements of his seven-month-old leadership are merely “the tip of the iceberg.”

He maintained that Governor Otu’s mentorship over the years has provided him with great experience, pledging his unallowed loyalty and service to the Otu-led administration.

In his exhortation, the General Overseer of Bible Christian Crusaders Mission, Pastor Joseph Okoro, with scriptural backing from Amos 9: 13-15, said with Governor Otu’s penchant for service delivery, Cross River State is primed for good governance.
