There has been a massive fire outbreak at Calabar Road, Calabar, Cross River State capital.
CONVERSEER learned that the fire which started burning on Friday night caused some scare among residents and commuters.

According to a video shared by Shadrach Edem on Facebook, flames from the outbreak were seen coming up massively behind E3 Restaurant, opposite PHED (NEPA) office and spreading behind FCMB Bank along Calabar Road by Mary Slessor.
The distance between the fire and that of Total Fueling Station is just a stone’s throw.
As of press time, our reporter could not ascertain the cause of the inferno.
CONVERSEER reports that there have been several fire outbreaks across the state this year, with the recent being at Ikom, Bogobiri and Watt Market.
