Azeez Falolu has left Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Katsina United, DAILY POST reports.
Falolu is reported to be close to a move to defending champions Rangers.
The midfielder confirmed his departure in a farewell message to the Chanji Boys.
Falolu said the memories of his time with the Katsina-based club will remain with him forever.
“Thank you, Katsina United, for the unforgettable memories, the roaring days at Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Saying goodbye is hard but the Chanji Boys spirit stays forever,” Falolu wrote in his farewell message.
“To the management, Thanks for the love and support throughout my playing days at the club, it’s such a privilege to represent the club.
“A special thank you to all my coaches who accompanied me and worked alongside me these past years. Thanks for playing a part in my growth as a person and player.
“I will stop wearing this shirt on the pitch but my love for the club and city will remain forever, wishing Katsina United success now and always.”
