Members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) turned out in large numbers across various Local Government Areas and Political Wards in Oron Federal Constituency on Saturday, May 16, 2026 for the House of Representatives primary election, returning incumbent Rep Martins Esin as the party’s candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The exercise, described by party leaders, returning Officers, Party agents and Stakeholders as peaceful, transparent, and well-organised, saw voters from Oron, Mbo, Okobo, Udung Uko, and Urue Offong/Oruko LGAs mobilize early at designated collation centers to participate in the direct Primary election.
Rep. Martins Esin secured the APC ticket to represent Oron/Udung Uko/Mbo/Okobo/Urueoffong/Oruko Federal Constituency in the House Of Representatives, Abuja for a second term.
Party officials said the outcome Of the Direct Primary election reflected confidence in his performance in the 10th National Assembly and alignment with the APC’s agenda at state and federal levels.
Interacting with the Media Monitoring team, Esin thanked the party faithful for their trust, love and confidence, pledging to deepen legislative interventions in infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment using forward Oro blueprint if re-elected during the 2027 elections.
