Ramadan: Chief of Staff Charges Muslims on Unity, Forgiveness

As the holy month of Ramadan approaches its end, members of the Muslim community in Cross River State, have been charged to emulate the virtues of the holy prophet Mohammed by forgiving one another as well as maintaining the bond of unity as good citizens.

The charge was given by the Chief of Staff to the Governor of the State, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar during a ramadan visit on him on Friday, March 28, by the Muslin community led by the Imam of the Calabar Central Mosques.

Hon.Ironbar who acknowledged the cooperation and support of the Muslim community in the state, urged them to continue to support the giant strides of Governor Bassey Edet Otu, especially in the areas of infrastructural development, human capital development amongst others .

He thanked them for their prayers and support, urging them to continue to support the administration of governor Bassey Otu

Earlier, the Chairman of the Cross River State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Kabeer Olowolayemo, expressed their appreciation for Governor Otu’s commitment to the welfare of the Muslim community.

He also commended his administration’s efforts in improving security and infrastructure across the state.

Speaking further, Imam Olowolayemo acknowledged Hon. Ironbar’s dedication to duty, describing his leadership as contributing immensely in the smooth running of government affairs.
