Former Manchester United player, Dwight Yorke, has spoken out against the Red Devils signing Arsenal target Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United.

Guimarães has been linked with the Gunners this summer transfer window, but Yorke does not think the Brazilian is good enough for Man United.

Speaking to BOYLE Sports, Yorke said the midfielder doesn’t excite him.

“I don’t know about Bruno Guimarães. I am not sure he has been that impressive. I watched him play for Brazil at the World Cup, and he has not convinced me.

“I think he is good. He has shown that at Newcastle United. He has a good work ethic. But is that what you are paying for when you sign a player to come to Manchester United? A good work ethic?”

“He doesn’t excite me. Bring me players who are going to make us superior! I am not so sure that is Bruno Guimarães,” he said.
