NEW | Trump-appointed prosecutor who called for Gaza to be wiped “off the map” drops charges against Israeli suspect in Nevada biolab case.
A report by Zeteo revealed that Sigal Chattah, an Israeli-born, Trump-appointed acting U.S. attorney known for anti-Palestinian remarks and support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza, dropped a federal gun charge against Israeli immigrant Ori Solomon, citing the vague “interests of justice.”
Solomon was arrested during an investigation into a suspected illegal biological laboratory in Nevada, where authorities reportedly discovered refrigerators containing unidentified vials and hazardous materials.
Investigators said the site shared similarities with a California biolab linked to unauthorized medical test kits and samples labeled with bio-hazard material.
Federal prosecutors had charged Solomon with illegally possessing a firearm, but on May 11 the charge was dismissed after prosecutors reviewed unspecified “additional information.” No public explanation was provided for why the case no longer warranted prosecution.
