Nigerian International and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has opened up on his exit from the Italian club side.
In an interview with CBS after Nigeria qualified for the next round at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, Osimhen that he has already made his decision on the next step to follow.
The prolific striker who has been linked with many Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United, said he will revealed where he wants to play next season later this year.
“The rumour is going around about me linked the Premier League but of course in terms like this when you’re one of the hottest striker in the globe, you expect this type of thing and of course EPL is one of the biggest, best league in the whole world.
“For me, I just…Napoli has signed a new contract and you know I am enjoying my time there, going through with the team and everything like.
“At the end of the season, I think eh, I’ve already made up my mind, I already know what I want to do with my career – since I’ve started, I’ll be the one taking my own decision and everything is working out well for me, even though when I started it didn’t go so well as planned but I already had my plan.
“I already know the next step that I want to take. So, for now, I just want to finish the season strong and go relax somewhere with my daughter, think about my life and then finally come up with a decision I’ve already made,” Osimhen said.

Osimhen is currently in Ivory Coast to proved his 2023 CAF African Footballer of the Year award with Nigeria already in the quarterfinal.
Osimhen has received many accolades since joining Napoli from Lile, including the 2022/2023 Seriale A title, top goal scorer of the season, 2023 Serie A Player of the Year and 2023 African Player of the Year awards.
