INTERNAL STAFF VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT
Following some unforeseen circumstances, the Governing Council is hereby re-advertising the under-listed positions to be applied for to fill vacant posts in the College of Nursing Sciences, Ogoja. This advertisement supersedes that of 24th April 2024.

Requirements:
1. All applicants shall be civil/public servants already in the employ of Cross River State Government provided they possess the requisite qualifications.
2. Applicants shall be professionals in the fields mentioned above and duly certified and/or registered by their regulatory bodies to practice in such specialities and holders of current practising licence (s).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITIONS:
1. Deputy Provosts (Administration/Academics)
Candidates from recognised Universities with at least five (5) years of teaching, research, and administrative experience in recognised Colleges/ Schools of Nursing and Midwifery. Possession of a PhD in Nursing or a related field is an added advantage.
2. Bursar/Internal Auditor
Candidates should be holders of B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degrees in Accounting from recognised Universities with at least 5 years of experience in accounting. Possession of ACA, ICAN, or ANAN is an added advantage. Applicant must be computer literate.
3. Directors of Schools
Applicants should possess B.NSc and Master’s Degrees from recognised Universities with at least five (5) years of teaching, research, and administrative experiences in recognised Colleges / Schools of Nursing and Midwifery and must be registered educators.

4. Librarian
Candidates should be holders of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Library Sciences from recognised universities with at least five (5) years of cognate experience in library management, in recognised Colleges/Schools. Applicants must be computer literate with cognate experience in e-library. Possession of a PhD in. a related field is an added advantage.
5. Assistant Librarian
Candidates must possess an HND or BSc degree in Library Sciences from recognised universities with at least five (5) years of cognate experience in library management, in recognised Colleges/Schools. Applicants must be computer literate with cognate experience in e-library. Possession of a Master’s Degree in a related field is an added advantage.
6. Director of Works
Applicants should be holders of HND/Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Civil/Mechanical/Electronic/Building Engineering from recognised Institutions with at least five (5) years of cognate experience in building and construction works and shall be computer literate.
7. Computer analyst
Candidates must possess a HND or BSc degree in computer science with at least five (5) years of cognate experience.
8. Lecturers
Candidates must possess a BSc or Master’s Degree in the area of specialisation applied for with at least five (5) years of cognate experience. Possession of a PhD in a related field is an added advantage.
Note: Those interested in positions 11 to 18 above, must possess at least SSCE, with relevant qualifications and/or experience in the position applied for. Any additional qualification is an added advantage.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested applicants are to obtain application form(s) from the Registrar’s office at the College of Nursing Sciences, Ogoja. Candidates are to submit the following;
a. Completed application form(s)
b. Detailed curriculum vitae
c. Photocopies of all relevant credentials/practising licenses
d. Letter from at least two (2) Referees
e. Four (4) passport photographs
f. Evidence of being in the employ of Cross River State Government.
