Ghanaian politician and medical doctor, Dr Okoe Boye, has said that the NPP won’t rest until it captures power.
The politician’s comment comes following the NPP’s successful executive elections, which took place over the weekend.
In his speech, the Greater Accra Regional chairman on the ticket of the NPP thanked all the executives of the party for ensuring that the election was free and fair, and that peace prevailed before, during, and after the election.
He stated further that, the NPP party wouldn’t rest until its flagbearer and former vice president, Dr. Bawumia becomes the president of the country, Ghana.
He said “I thank all constituency executives for their support and participation in yesterday’s election. The 488–173 result represents a clear and emphatic endorsement, I am deeply grateful”.
He added that “Thank you for the trust, encouragement and commitment throughout this journey. We shall not rest until we make Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia President of the Republic of Ghana”
